\\ RIO 2016 OLYMPIC PARK
In August 2011, AECOM led a multi-disciplinary design team that won an international design competition for the masterplan of the Rio 2016 Olympic Village. The landscape department in London was responsible for the park and this work involved extensive coordination with other disciplines.
Joao (T•Placemaking) was a key member of the landscape team (Games + Legacy) and his role included coordination of local consultant and taking the lead in various client presentations in Brazil.
