I would imagine that's how the Lion from Wicked looks like when i saw the reference pic ( http://wallpaper88.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Black-Lion-Wallpaper.jpg ) , with all his trepidation stirring within him.
Finished version after so long. Fur is hardballs to paint.
Done with Wacom on Photoshop.
