Adbhuture! (The "Spooky" Series)

...
Living legend Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay's Adbhuture (meaning spookily uncanny) series has always been featured with artworks by Kolkata cartoonist Debshish Deb. Trouble begins for Haribandhu, the eldest son of a doctor, when he is rusticated from his school for failing too many times. Upon the advice of one of his patients, the doctor sends Hari to a hardened boarding school in Motiganj, a town where people both good and evil are trying to find the grave of Pagla Shaheb, a benevolent Englishman. Pagla Shaheb is still seen in Motiganj from time to time, astride a white horse, protecting the weak and needy, even a century after his death.
