For this project, I wanted to write about some of the greatest memories of my life. These stories used to be situations I dreamed about experiencing, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to live them out at different points of my life. These memories have played a key role in my growth as a person, and remind me specifically to appreciate my life, the earth, and my family. 

First I began thinking about three days of my life that left a lasting impression. Once I wrote these out, I paired them with a photo, collage, and illustration that fit for each.​​​​​​​

I created a set of monograms with the initials CC to go along with my work. After experimenting online with different fonts and letter combinations, I created 12 strong monogram sets. I narrowed it down to 10, and then sketched them out to get a feel of what they would look like on paper.

I wanted to make a cover that reflected water, growth, and depth. I experimented with my monograms further to find one that looked sharp and cohesive. I named the book "Beyond Daydreams" to explain that these stories were dreams that I lived out.
