Hotpot is my first short film shot in early 2021 as my attempt to tackle the theme of diversity. I was inspired by the nationally loved dish, hotpot.
The short film was shot on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K with 14mm, 24mm, 35mm, and 85mm Samyang cinema lenses. Most shots are taken on a tripod, including fast pannings. Audio was recorded on iphone, and later processed on Audacity. Some audio was foleyed post-production. Video editing and assembly is done in Premiere Pro.
