This project was my final project to become a graphical designer. An exam.
The assignment was to give the new club underneath the Amsterdam Tower a new identity.
I gave the club the name BASE, this stands for the bass in music, the foundation of the tower it is located under and ofcourse the word basement.
I used the strong and steady font Nobel with a floor on top.
This makes a strong foundation where the rest of the identity wil stand upon.
The layer on top of the foundation will be used for emotion.
Emotion is what gives us our memories and experience.
So if you link the club to different emotions people will experience them in their own way
every time they step inside of the club.
Every emotion is a theme inside the new club,
it wil change evere week to a new theme.
For example Happy is where you can dance all around with active music like drum and bass,
But the Sad theme is where you will sit down and can talk with one an other. This wil be supported by slow and feely music like that of Shlomo.
Again you will see the logo located at the bottom of the poster,
This is how it will remain a foundation to the rest of the identity.
Underneath you will see the flyers
These have the same bright colors as the posters and is quickly recognised.
