Artist Statement
My favorite piece of folklore is the Church Grim, the spirit of a large black dog bound to protect whatever graveyard they were buried in. The ghosts of dogs can often be found in places of stress, making attempts to uplift the heavy energy. Even in the afterlife dogs are loving, protective souls.
