Shuttercube is a graduation project which aims at self expression through photography. It is a conceptual project.It has a dialogue going on along with a narrative that supports the metaphorical photographs.
Self expression for each of us is very crucial specially to release the trapped emotions. I chose photography as medium to express my self. No matter what photographs I tooled whether it was random surrounding, selfies , self portraits through set up scene or more. The underlying aim to this was just merely the photograph speaking for me rather than I speaking and being unable to express still. A photograph I believe does it all and as you know "A picture is worth 1000 words".
Through this personal photographic narrative I am trying to inspire the rest of the world to just merely express oneself freely and use photography... specially when camera is at the tip of their fingers today.

The Cube Construction

The box has a window at the front. The visitors at the exhibition will see this and be curious to come towards the box and have a look.
The idea of the box or the cube is to evoke curiosity and then take through the journey of emotions that has been described in the photo narrative being played inside the box. The photo narrative includes a dialogue as well as self expression photographs.
The small plinth had the business card and the postcards along with the headphones.
The visitor out curiosity walkd towards the plinth that contains the cube. The user then puts on the headphones and goes through the journey of emotions being shown in the box. It becomes more personal to a person when he is alone lookin through it. And a cube can do it well to make everything look mysterious.
