A radio brief was the first real opportunity I recieved as a junior. After being given lunch and as many coffees as I could handle during my first session, I decided to put a bit of effort into getting my head around it. Soon enough, I was being given the radio briefs not because no one else wanted them, but because I was proving to be pretty good at them.
While the traditional radio briefs are fewer and farther between, the fundamentals hold up across new audio reliant media.

These are a handful of favourites from over the years, including a batch at the end that ran and were subsequently banned.
Don Smallgoods - 18 Slices. Not the best ad I've ever made, but the most fun I've ever had in a session with an absolute legend. Vale Tommy Dysart.
Pura Tone - Fruit and the Devil. Winner of the Austereo Award 1999 ($10k & 2 x business class around the world airfares) but just a Bronze at MADC.
Boots - Sun Lotion (retail pharmacy) A highlight from my time working in London.
HSBC - Barbados. Massively self indulgent campaign, but I love the gravitas and humour.
HSBC - Sicily. See above.
BANNED  Think Books - Football Heroes
BANNED Think Books - Gods of Rock
BANNED Think Books - Kings of Comedy
BANNED Think Books - Movie Idols
BANNED EPA Victoria - Dobbing Kiwi
BANNED EPA Victoria Dobbing Pom
