I made this illustration as a means to relax, create a woman of pure stillness, someone who isn't stuck but is resting. And I believe the best way to rest is in the company of those you love.
I used a mixture of watercolor and color pencils, in order to create smooth bases and textured details. This was a very enjoyable process and made me very proud of my dedication.
