UK - Umbrella firm accused of withholding thousands owed to contractors

According to an interview featured on BBC's Money Box radio show (subject starts at '08:29'), an unnamed FCSA umbrella company firm in the UK was accused of withholding thousands of pounds in wages to contractors. In the interview, a contractor for the umbrella firm stated that the client company compelled a group of contractors to take mandatory leave during Christmas, and the group used all of the leave they had left. "When January 4th arrived, we requested paid leave, and it was denied," the contractor explained in an interview.
