There's a polish proverb that goes ''Nie mój cyrk, nie moje małpy", and it translates to "Not my Circus, not my monkeys". It means that you shouldn't waste energy on a problem that's out of your control. And even though I'm against the use of animals in circuses, I couldn't help but wonder how great of an imagery the metaphor evokes.
For the lettering, I knew I wanted to use red & gold, besides trying to come up with some kind of vintage treatment. My semiotics teacher would kill me for separating the "not my" from the "circus", but oh well. I got a 9.5 in semiotics for a reason. LOL.
I've used Blender, Illustrator and Photoshop for it and promised to myself that I would never try to do something like this anymore.
Using the slider, it really shows how much fun I had with it. The inspiration for it came during the pandemics, but I couldn't figure out a way to make it. It just took me some patience to find the right assets, the rest was fairly easy to build.
