Woodstock Festival Project

The Independent Creative Brief: To begin you are required to identify an area of focus, subject area or theme that interests you creatively. As the project develops, you will produce a set of aims and objectives and a title for your project.

I challenged myself with the task of relaunching the famous festival ‘Woodstock’. I wanted to change the perspective of the festival after the events of Woodstock 1999, in which multiple cases of misconduct took place due to a mismanagement of the festival. 

I wanted to use the identity to demonstrate a safe and sustainable environment, so the target audience can have the full festival experience. This meant that I needed to create a successful social media campaign along with a modern identity, professional advertising and merchandising to promote Woodstock’29.
