In this project, I really had to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with materials I haven't used before, including paper and wire.
As the main task in this project we had to create a mobile out of wire that would be stable yet still sway in the wind. This was a challenge to me as I had never used wire before and became overwhelmed when I began creating it. Because of this, I had to restart and rethink the process of making it. To do this I instead chose to lay it out flat and work in a more 2D way with it based on a sketch of how I wanted it to look. This definitely helped and lead me to create something I am proud of and the process worked so well I was able to make the structure much quicker than it took me to paint, cut out and detail the butterfly pieces.
