The brief required an aesthetically appropriate magazine article on a phobia. I created the images, layout and copy for this article on botanophobia. To make the article appropriate for the target audience, I chose a layout that is balanced with open space and images that were clean and simple, to make the reader feel comforted at ease. The font used, Didot, is a serif font which gives the text gravitas, but with finer horizontal strokes, more aperture and wider tracking that make it softer and calm. All images are my own photography.
