This Khomuc's 2023 calendar contains 12 artworks from 12 different Vietnamese artists. My part is for May. The brief was to cook something related to robots and flowers. My idea was to create a war between these 2 kinds.
Concept: The Flower people had always disliked the idea of coexisting with the machines. Ever since machines began to force the influence of strings and electric on the land, the flower lords had foretold the day when machines announce their occupation. The flower race lives and maintains a friendliness, but the flower army will be uncompromising once it enters war, and that time is near to come.

In this project, my most spent effort was to character-design the 2 main objects: the robots and the flowers. Flower-man was based in Vietkong soldiers, and the robot design was referenced from Kotobukiya's 'frame arms' design.
