Finished piece for my Illustration with printmaking support module.
Breif was to create 6 illustrations using a combination of drypoint, lino print and mono print based on the theme of the rhyme...
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sailor, Rich Man, Poor Man.
Prints for the mannequins were completed using two corresponding drypoint plates which I alligned on the press one after the other. They are set next to mono-printed flower and button backgrounds with the front and back cover of the concertina book in lino-printed flowers and buttons.
Really pleased with how this has turned out considering this is my first time using dry point as a medium. It is definitly something that I will return to as I am really happy with the imagery that I have produced with it.
