During the process of my Construction Barrier Design, the challenge was to create one for STLCC - Meramec. The concept was to define STLCC-Meramac based on what it offers in many ways. I chose to use the mascot Archie as a simple logo replication. Then, I chose to do a very colorful background in a zig zag type of format, to not only show the school is filled with diversity, but to also show different open pathway options. based on how many programs STLCC offers. Lastly, I used symbols that define what programs the college offers and used these symbols to letter out an STLCC quote, “EXPANDING MINDS CHANGING LIVES”, and the college name. I used Adobe Illustrator to create my overlapping color patterns and to illustate Archie. Overall, I enjoyed creating this design.
