For this project we were tasked with representing a literary theme through shape and type. I chose to represent "Perseverance through great struggle". I wanted to show that growth and healing is not linear. I first started with shape, then type, and then a hybrid of my two designs. Finally I chose the book Kindred by Octavia Butler as the book that fit this theme.
