Brief: Create a set of posters promoting Fashion Week

Idea: To create a set of posters that were inspired by various fashion icons across the decades. 

Outcome: 

A series of posters created to showcase fashion week, through portraits of different fashion icons across various decades.Each celebrity represents a different decade, starting with Marilyn Monroe representing the 1950s, Twiggy as the 1960s, Bowie as the 1970's, Prince as the 1980's, Madonna as the 1990's and Lady Gaga representing the 2000's/2010's. 

The poster revolved around the portrait, using a combination of digital painting and digital collage to create the final image.

Each icon was selected with careful consideration, to ensure that they were someone who was truly impactful on fashion. The imagery was made using a collage of various patterns, fabrics and textures in a colour that matches each icon.
