In honor of Adrian Frutiger and his creation of Centennial, this type specimen book examines the typeface in all of its forms, as well as Adrian's life as a famous type designer. Juxtaposed with photographs of  architecture and design elements inspired by the art deco style. 

Adrian Frutiger was born in the time of the 1920s. During this time the design style of art deco was very popular. Art Deco is a style of visual arts, architecture, and product design, that first appeared in France in the 1910s, and flourished in the United States and Europe during the 1920s. The style is characterized especially by sleek geometric or stylized forms and by the use of man-made materials.
