The moment the club hit the ball needed to be impactful so I actually layered a few sounds to give it that feeling. The "four" was also an essential element to lead us to the climax.

I wanted the listener to feel the grass, so naturally I needed to add footsteps. I also I added some clothes movement to put some emphasis on the actual golfer (although we don't seem him much).

Just three layers did the trick for this ambience, but I definitely wanted us to feel like we were by the ocean.

The only thing I emphasized in this mix is the separation between the different layers of the ambience.
