Lily is a young girl with a motivation to change how the world goes around. She has decided that she wants to be treated as an adult and has decided to do so by imitating and rebelling against the adults in her life. She reads the newspapers to keep up with the issues of the world and takes notes of Karl Marx. She is met with challenge by the local shopkeeper and her parents. Lily's plans for therevolution starts to shape throughout the film and Lily is determined to get her message through to her little town. Her big act of starting the revolution causes a huge stir at the local Spar by having a fit with the shop owner about money and capitalism. Although her actions got her into big problems with her parents, her fight against the conservatives has yet to begin.
