This game was made for WebGL, developed with Unity 2D. The sprites were made with Photoshop and Procreate

The initial idea comes from the Game Jam theme: “Too Long”. After a team meeting and brainstorming, we were clear about two things: We wanted «Plataformed» as genre of the game and also develop a medium-hard difficult gameplay.


MECHANICS

Elements to be taken into account for a successful game
In order for the game to achieve its intended pleasures, we had to take two fundamental elements into account in its development:

It was necessary to build an interesting and challenging world and differentiated areas so that the player would feel like overcome the traps and challenges rewarded by doing so. 
How is this achieved? By creating a good tutorial to make sure he understand the mechanics and how make the most of them.

For enjoyable gameplay, it was necessary to create a rich collection of sounds effects, a attractive cyberpunk world and make sure there is no visual bugs related with the hair.


Level design
How do not we get players bored about the difficult of all the challenges? Precisely with what we already mentioned: with a good level design.
We understand a good level design as one that encourages try and learn from each try and at the same time is a challenge when it comes to reach the next checkpoint. Different areas have been created with different combinations of elements, such as traps, free falls and more, so that the player can find his way to overcome each challenge. 

The difficulty of the challenges increases over time, allowing the player to continue to improve their skills once they feel they have mastered them.

Player Objetives
The player’s goal is to overcome all the challenges and be on time to his date. It is a objetive goal and it does not gives players the freedom to explore the world at first but feel that they are really talented in platofm. This is done expressly because the intention of the game is to be a challenging and logic platform game 

Audience
This game is specially designed for 2 different types of players:  achivers and explorer. Explorers and Achivers will enjoy the game as they explore the entire map to find the checkpoints and hidden corners of the map.


Things to improve
● Incorporation of NPCs and narrative to bring the city to life.       
● Visually, it can be a bit saturating.
● Design a easier game mode to allow casual players enjoy the game
