Playing Arts is a collective art project that gathers renowned artists from around the world to showcase their artistic styles and unique perspectives through the medium of playing cards.
In 2016, on its third edition, it launched two decks: Edition three and Special Edition. This card was my entry for the Special Edition Contest. I was asked to create a design for the 2 of spades. 537 artists from 67 countries participatet in the contest, 55 artworks ended up in the deck. This is my winning entry for its category.
