The Artist Assignment

Embracing,
Making,
And Giving Away Spaces
To Artists

The desire to stay connected to your essential truth, and creatively share the common joys and struggles of being a human has always been the assignment artists chase everyday. However, the constant pressure of being chased by the daily needs has starved the young artist that lives in each one of us.
The life of the artist should never be limited to the applausable end product, but to enjoy a sustainable human life, truly and fully, and successfully find the   space and the support to express what it is like to be who we are.  What it is like to be alive!

This was one of the very exciting occasions where the brand is allowed to have no particular logo. Instead, there is a visual sentence that combines “creativity” in the shape of a spark, with “space” in the shape of a visible grid, “between two or more artists”.

The different marks in the visual language do not follow a centered image-making guideline, and is designed to be an open canvas for creativity where visual artists can use this pictographic sentence and rearrange its elements , composition and style to go with different mediums, immerse with different environments, and tell different stories.
