Merlin is designed, handset and printed from the letterpress shop at Carnegie Mellon University.
This project follows Merlin the Wizard's full journey until his death. I typeset this project with Melior Semibold 8pt size and printed 3 copies total. I printed on rives BFK paper using a flat-bed cylinder press with rubber-based ink. I also hand bound the outer portfolio case at the shop. The portfolio case is constructed out of chipboard with Canson Ingres fiber paper pasted on the surface. This project is 5"x8".
