Body dysmorphia (BDD) is a mental condition in which a person spends a significant amount of time thinking about defects in their appearance and can lead to depression, self-harm and even thoughts of suicide. This mask is very important to her. The first reason being it depicts how she feels sometimes, how she is trapped inside the thoughts and wants to get out of it. Secondly, it has a feature that helps relieve stress. Yes, whenever you will start thinking about the things you shouldn’t, just touch the top part of the mask and it will start gathering those thoughts leaving you with no thoughts. These thoughts are then converted into physical energy and sent back to your body. This is how she helps the people and herself, by converting those thoughts to energy.
BIPOLAR SECURA
Coming from a place where creatures can’t handle heat at all and that it is always night there, Heather has great difficulty adapting to a new place. He was sent on a mission to a planet to get some important materials. The mask helps protect him during the daytime for few hours. It is made of a special substance found only on his planet. He has to charge it every night by keeping it in a special box designed for that. When he goes out when the sun is present, the mask forms a shield around his body protecting him from the heat waves. The effect lasts for maximum of 3 hours so he has to be quick or wait for it be night. The design of the mask basically shows how he feels during both day and night. If he goes out without the mask during daytime, his body starts evaporating and in about 1 hour, he would disappear.
