Lofoten | The other side of the lens
Those of you who follow me on Instagram will know that I recently went to Lofoten, but it might not be clear why. Me and Sophie went there as part of a wedding photography workshop - only we didn’t go as photographers.

When Zanna, who co-runs the wedding blog Sisters in Law, asked us if we wanted to join them and Way Up North for three days of fun in Lofoten we instantly said yes. They were looking for a couple to model for their upcoming wedding photography workshop. Sophie has done some modelling for them in the past, but i have zero on-camera experience. I still welcomed this challenge. Being a commercial photographer myself, I work a lot with models of various experience. Putting myself in the spotlight on the other side of the lens gave me a very different perspective and a better understanding of how they must feel. It was definitely educational, but most of all, it was damn fun.

I’ll share all the images I took during our roadtrip and our stay in Lofoten with you at another time. For now, enjoy these images of me and Sophie trying to keep it together. Oh and side note - I did get a haircut, and I shaved my arms and chest for this.
