What is a company's greatest asset? It's people. For Kohl's career site we wanted to focus on the people—the actual employees that make Kohl's great. Throughout the site a potential candidate will see testimonials from real employees of Kohl's. Of course, we still want people to fill out an application so we created quick searches and map search technology. One of the great balancing acts of a career site is to keep the job search easy and accessible without letting it overpower the great cultural and other important aspects of the company a candidate needs to learn about before clicking "Apply". If a career site can get a candidate to first say "I can see myself working here" instead of "do they have a job opening for me", than a company is one step closer to having an employee who sticks around and performs highly
