Graphic Design in Organizing Apprenticeship

Graphic Design in Organizing Apprenticeship
A 12-week digital design course hosted by Social Movement Technologies to  build skills from building a visual identity for organizations to applying time-tested graphic design techniques to navigating industry-standard (and emerging!) software. Participants were able to efficiently create designs that inspire action. We were also trained also  lead our organizations to support distributed design by volunteers and staff who are not designers.

A project that I worked on during these 12 weeks was building a visual brand identity for one of our campaigns, Safer Schools without SROs. The process started from moodboarding, to developing a style guide, to creating content that reflected the guidelines. The completed style guide is a linked PDF at the bottom of the page under "Source Files" and also to the right of the page under the paperclip icon labelled "files."
