Carbonite is a data backup and restoration service. In 2019, I illustrated for two conferences in which they were participants: Microsoft Inspire in Las Vegas and VMWorld Europe in Barcelona, Spain. In contrast to some of my other projects, Carbonite already had a brand manual with clear explanations of their illustration style. My job was to follow their manual and conceptualize the specific illustrations based on the dimensions required for the conferences. This experience taught me to flow and apply my concepts to an existing style because I wasn’t the person to set the illustration style, and became a fun project to enhance my illustration skills.
