At the invitation of Selo Sesc, I produced a series of 10 drawings and collages (manuals) and 3 animations about the work of the important multi-artist JOHN CAGE, illustrating a dossier written by Gabriela Garcia about the life and work of John Cage.

"There is no such thing as empty space or empty time. There is always something to see, something to hear. Effectively, no matter how hard we try to be quiet, we cannot. For certain engineering purposes, it is desirable to have as quiet a situation as possible. Such an environment is called an anechoic chamber, its six walls made of special material, a room without echoes. Several years ago, at Harvard University, I entered one and heard two sounds, one low and one high. When I described them to the engineer in charge, he informed me that the high was my nervous system in operation, and the low, my blood in circulation. Until I die there will be sounds, and they will continue after my death. There is no need to fear for the future of music."
