TLAXILI  LAMPS.

Inspired by the work Las Pozas by Edward James in Xilitla, this series of hanging luminaries seek to charge with surrealism, futurism and ancestry a secret passage to a night club. The project explored how to give a more organic sensation to the metallic structure that was placed on the stairs, since it is a protected building, interventions could not be made directly on the walls.

All the pieces are handmade in clay and have an internal metal skeleton to be hung. They also have a crown of natural roots at the bottom, made out the vegetation from the workshop they were produced.
