▲『待人』 "MACHIBITO" (2023.05.23)
In Japan, temples and shrines often have paper fortune slips called "omikuji" available. These omikuji contain written predictions about one's fortune. After drawing an omikuji, there is a custom of tying the paper to a tree within the temple or shrine grounds, symbolizing the establishment of a connection with the deities (though taking it home is also allowed).
