Typographic Onomatopoeia

Hello!
Welcome to my fourteenth portfolio piece. This project showcases my ability to use Adobe Illustrator's tools to create a handful of visually engaging typographic onomatopoeia. To achieve the finalized images, I had to use the type and various other tools to manipulate the text.
Purpose: To demonstrate skills and knowledge of Illustrator's tools to produce typographic onomatopoeia.
Objective: Use Illustrator's type and various tools to create the vector assets needed to have each word be visually represented by the letters that make them up.
Approach: I began by brainstorming and sketching potential ideas for typographic onomatopoeia; then, with my finalized sketches ready, I created these words with the type  tool before going in and manipulating the letters with various tools; and finally I included the font used for each word in the bottom right corner of each image.
Project Duration: This project took no more than 1 business day, specifically 1 hour and 5 minutes (15 minutes for brainstorming and sketching, 50 minutes to create all of the graphics).
Role: My role for this project was that of graphic designer, particularly that of a vector artist and typographer.
Final Product Overview: Using Illustrator's tools in tandem with my brainstorming skills, I was able to create a few visually engaging vector illustrations that utilize the letters to best represent each word.
