TJK Printers Logo Improvement
The logo for the client's business had been in use for several years, and was designed a long time ago using Microsoft Word and a clip-art. The original source files had long since been misplaced, and they had been using a low-resolution image for business purposes. In improving the logo, I wanted to preserve the original design and image (as it has already been integrated into memory by their numerous long-standing and existing customers). So the goal was only to modernize the design into something sleeker and with impact.
The colors to the original logo were in the shades of red and forest green, and were not attributed to any of the swatches in the Pantone color library. To remedy this garishness, I instead paired the darker shade of green (which the client wanted to keep) to a burnt orange hue. Both colors have Pantone keys for easier workability in the printing process.
In addition, I designed a tentative branding suite with a minimalist and clean approach for a more business - professional image towards their own clients.
