Tre Limoncello Packaging design.
The challenge was to select and explore a number, then create something that brings it to life and tells us its story or meaning. I chose an Italian drink called ‘limoncello’ and the number was ‘3’ (Tre in Italian). The main reason for choosing the number 3 is it takes three unique qualities in Amalfi to create original limoncello; Sun, Sea, Trees. The sun generates sweetness, the sea gifts minerals, and the trees produces nutrience. The label represents a lemon zest and the drip stopper symbolises a leaf. The symbol is the Amalfi mark with the number three.
