I was commissioned by the design team at Leica Geosystems to create a subtle yet interesting video using a selection of photographs that featured one of Leica's land excavating technologies. The final animation was then displayed as a video backdrop at CONEXPO 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. A combination of techniques were used including 2.5D and 3D camera projection. Each photo was broken down into individual foreground, midground and background layers, then placed in 3D space and projected onto 3D geometry.
