The cover for this chair cushion was hand woven on a 16-shaft floor loom. The warp was hand-wound and dyed using a mixture of Pro MX dye colors, and put onto the loom according to a honeycomb structure weave draft. The fabric was then woven using yarns of different weights and colors for the outlines and the cells after experimentation with different combinations of yarns.
