Nature photography is a type of photography that allows photographers to capture the beauty of the natural world. For many photographers, nature provides an endless source of inspiration and gives us the opportunity to explore the beauty of life on earth.

    One of the reasons why I chose nature photography for my photo series is because of the beauty of the natural world. From the vibrant colours of a butterfly to the rugged beauty of the mountains, nature is full of stunning sights and scenes.

 Photography allows me to capture these moments, even down to the minor details, such as butterflies. 

    Another reason why I chose nature photography is that it allows me to connect and find the beauty in the natural world in a way that I find incredibly fulfilling. As a photographer, I can explore and discover different habitats and ecosystems. This kind of exploration and adventure is incredibly rewarding and helps me develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the natural world. 

    Additionally, nature photography is a great way to raise awareness about the importance of conservation and protecting the environment. By capturing the beauty and majesty of the natural world, photographers can help to inspire others to appreciate and respect the environment. This kind of awareness can be incredibly powerful, and it can help to drive efforts to protect and preserve the natural world for future generations.

    In my photo series, I used butterflies to try and express the beauty of even the smallest animals we live with. Butterflies come in different shapes, sizes, and colours, but they always have the same result of attracting our attention. It's amazing how such a fragile animal can be so beautiful and have such mesmerizing colours and patterns.

    An example of this is in the second image. In the image with the statue, I was actually not able to tell that there was a butterfly there until the editing process, where I realized a beautiful pattern on the neck of the statue. Compared to the other two images where the butterflies are the first thing the eyes go to because of the contrast of colour, this allowed me to fully appreciate the composition and the opportunity that I was able to get such a stunning image in that moment. 

    In conclusion, I love being able to capture the beauty in the small things. Being able to capture the world in a new  perspective is something I really enjoy as a photographer.
