It isn’t a secret that the entire Smith family has been on the radar of a lot of different people over the past few years. Other than the fact that Jada Pinkett Smith admitted in front of Will Smith in her talk show that she was having affairs during the subsistence of their marriage, the mega actor also went onstage during the 2022 Academy Awards to slap Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about his wife’s hair.

Of course, Jaden Smith has also seen his fair share of attention over the past few years as well. Known for starting as an actor early in movies like The Pursuit of Happyness and The Karate Kid, he has also become quite popular as a performer because of his stellar music career. In fact, it was during a performance on stage that people became more interested in Jaden’s personal life.

In 2017, Jaden Smith performed in a concert at Camp Flog Gnaw in California. While performing, he told the crowd that Tyler the Creator was his boyfriend, and that made people think that he could be gay.

Since then, neither Jaden nor Tyler ever said anything remotely close to completely confirming that they were dating. There were instances when they posted things on social media, and such things pointed to the possibility that they could be dating. Still, there wasn’t anything that could confirm that the two were indeed seeing each other after Jaden Smith made the revelation that he and Tyler the Creator were dating.

Of course, there were also instances when Jaden Smith was linked with female celebrities over the next few years, and this made fans wonder whether or not he was actually gay or whether or not he was joking about his relationship with Tyler the Creator. Fast forward five years from that revelation and Jaden Smith has been seen or linked with numerous other celebrities. So, is Jaden Smith still dating Tyler the Creator?

It is unlikely that Jaden and Tyler are still dating if ever it was indeed true that they were dating. That’s because, as mentioned, Jaden Smith has since been linked with female celebrities and personalities. 

Since 2020, Jaden Smith has been linked with social media influencer and model Sab Zada, who he was seen holding hands with. Meanwhile, in 2022, they were seen enjoying lunch together on Valentine’s Day. 

In that regard, it could be possible that Jaden and Tyler had called their relationship off a few years after Smith made that declaration. Nevertheless, this does seem contradictory to when Jaden Smith tweeted about “his boyfriend” after Tyler the Creator won a Grammy Award back in 2020. This goes back to our question of whether or not Jaden and Tyler did indeed date.

As mentioned, Jaden Smith made the declaration that he and Tyler the Creator were seeing each other and that he has always been his boyfriend. He later tweeted about it, to which Tyler replied by saying that Jaden’s crazy in a manner that seemed to be indicating that they were having fun.

Since then, they weren’t seen together showing affection for one another. On top of that, they were never really very vocal about their relationship to the point that they would actually declare to the world that they were in love or that they were dating. This begs the question of whether or not they were actually dating when Jaden Smith made the declaration about his relationship with Tyler the Creator.

It is possible that they were only messing around at that time because they have always been close friends for a long time already. Despite the age gap between the two artists, they have been hanging out together as close friends and have become quite the duo. This means that it is possible that they are actually just really close friends and that Jaden was just messing around with the declaration that Tyler was his boyfriend.
