Biography of An Artist
The artist I chose is Thai My Phuong ( aka Tamypu), who is a popular illustrator and drawer in Vietnam. My illustrating works have been inspired a lot by her styles. I love how she use pastel colors to create a dreamlike and sweet in most of her work.
The publication talks about her passion and dream, and what she hopes to do in her work as well as her life. The concept chosen is simplicity, as due to her clean, tidy and simple characteristic. She loves monochrome, which is why I only use cyan besides black color. The typefaces throughout the publcation are Simplifica and Helvetica, due to their clean and clear font. The images used inside are changed mostly to black and white to fit in the chosen concept.
