Is Avenir Next? Yes it is! 

I wanted to showcase the simplicity, warmth, openness and humanistic features of the Avenir Next font. It became an instant success when introduced in 1988. I believe it's still as relevant today as it was when it was introduced and continues to be used in many designs. This San Serif font design is based on typefaces like "Futura" and "Erbar". The word Avenir means future so it's no surprise that it conveys a timelessness that Swiss designer Adrian Frutiger wanted in the image of his typeface. With over 34 typefaces in Avenir's font pack family you are sure to find one that suits your needs for your next project. Happy designing.

Below, are my drafts where you will find the starting point for my designs. I played with the grid lines, weight, and sizing of the font. In the end I lowered the size of the question mark, made the title on one baseline and lowered the size of the history typeface. I also made a last minute change to the font pricing and color to bring everything together and create something visually interesting and pleasing to the eye.
