The purpose of this project was to create a poster that showcases a font available on fonts.com and encourage a designer to purchase it by highlighting the characteristics of the typeface. I chose to showcase Avenir Next and samples of the varying weights available within the student font pack. I provided a brief description of the history of the font as well as the names of the designers. The call-to-action included the price of the entire font family and a website where it can be purchased. 

I began this project by creating thumbnail sketches and exploring various concepts. I then chose my favorite and recreated the design in Adobe Illustrator. 

I continued to make refinements to my design and adjust the readability. 

My final poster design features a bold title and a strong letter "a" with a thin outline. The poster follows a grid system with strong alignment and columns.
