This project was born out of the need to implement the new skills I've been acquiring over the past couple of months on a project with some direction.
The main goal was practising my modelling skills. I modelled this mech from a combination of sketches I made in the past and some references. When I was satisfied with the topology, I rigged the model and tried out different light setups and textures.
Frederick Iyiabo directed the texturing. Krusty, my friend, really helped me get through the initial stage of the modelling which was a bit daunting.
After rigging the model, Frederick Iyiabo directed the posing and lighting. I did some final retouching in Photoshop.
