BOOF는 책을 읽으면 잠이 오는 행동을 유도하여 수면을 돕는 수면등입니다. 책을 읽다가 잠이 오면 책을 BOOF의 지붕 위에 덮어두고 읽던 위치를 자연스럽게 표시해두세요. 어둑한 밤 작은 BOOF HOUSE에 불이 들어와 수면을 위한 공간으로 바꿔줍니다.

BOOF is a sleep lamp that induces sleep when reading a book. If you feel sleepy while reading a book, cover the book on the roof of the BOOF and mark where you were reading it naturally. At night, a small BOOF HOUSE lights up and turns it into a sleeping space.

Concept

제품 BOOF는 어둑한 밤에 켜진 집의 모습을 형상화하여 디자인되었습니다. 삼각형인 지붕은 읽던 책을 올려두는 곳으로 자연스러운 책갈피 역할을 합니다. 이렇게 읽고있는 책의 표지는 지붕이 되어 사용자는 다른 책을 읽을때마다, 또 다른 분위기의 BOOF를 즐길 수 있습니다.

The product BOOF is designed to embody the appearance of a house lit at night. The triangular roof serves as a natural bookmark to place the book you were reading on. The cover of the book you're reading like this becomes a roof, so that users can enjoy a different atmosphere of BOOF whenever they read another book.

Problem

책을 읽다보면 어느새 글씨를 배게삼아 선잠을 자는 사람들이 많습니다.  사실 우리에게 책은 사실 고농도의 수면제가 아닐까요?

BOOF 위에 책을 올려두면 창문과 그라운드에 은은한 빛이 켜져 잠에 들 수 있는 적합한 환경으로 바꿔줍니다. 책을 읽다가 졸리면 언제든 책을 BOOF의 지붕위에 올려두고 자면됩니다.

When you put a book on top of the BOOF, a subtle light turns on the window and the ground, turning it into a suitable sleeping environment.
