Seismic Union logo (2021)
Seismic Union is a collection - or union - of supporters groups for the San Jose Earthquakes, professional soccer team. This new group uniting the various supporters groups was in need of a logo that clearly associated the group with their beloved team.
We went through several rounds of sketches before landing on the final design. The group's logo can be seen at the teams new playing field, Paypal Park, in San Jose.

attempts were made to visualize the differing concepts of an earthquake fault and the coming together of different groups. It was ultimately decided that a more traditional route of a badge or shield design was more appropriate.
