The Fahd x Ashluxe.

  I always wonder, the relationship Performance has with apparel, the hype, the skill, the absolute coolness of it all. So I decided to go on a little journey, tying the biggest fashion brand in Nigeria with a risk taking Skateboarder.

Initially, I went through the interesting work Nike did with Ishod Wair, placing his own spin on the Nike SB series, bringing childhood dreams to life. I took some reference from the work done here by these amazing guys.

And so we went to work, exploring the existing problems, and working through various silhouettes. I wanted it to be bulky and very terrain-like but I had to listen to the science of skating and consider the amount of energy exerted when landing the flips and tricks.
