ADOBE® ILLUSTRATOR® BASICS EXPLAINED
(IN SLOVENIAN LANGUAGE)
The Adobe® Illustrator® program does not exist in the Slovenian language. Erna became an Adobe® Illustrator Certified Expert illustrator CC in 2016 when she opened the company E-CREATE. Within this, she lectures about the program and searches for appropriate terminology that replaces English technical terms with Slovenian ones. Erna loves communication, language, messaging and design.
She combined her skills and used the time of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 to give an online lecture to Slovenian professional and amateur designers, while preparing for the Adobe® Certified Instructor certification. In 2021, she independently organized and taught 67 students through her workshop.
Since she migrated to Austria in 2010, she tries to keep in touch with her homeland and friends across the border, and above all, she tries to educate in the world of design and culture from abroad with the help of technologies and multimedia interdisciplinary methods.
For these purposes, she recorded video content and prepared short, transparent instructions in Slovenian and English.
Her dream is to translate Adobe Illustrator into the Slovenian language with Adobe® support and thereby help the Slovenian design public to get the program in their native language.
